I have lived in Amherst for over 40 years working in intercollegiate athletics. My commitment to excellence in the areas of academics, athletics and now real estate has enriched the lives of many people who became part of Hampshire and Franklin counties.
I am excited about being able to offer my professional knowledge and experience in placing families and new friends in quality homes. My goal is to help families and friends find new homes, making the transition to this area a successful and rewarding one, and if you are thinking about selling I can offer free services to help prepare your house for sale.
I am a graduate of the American Real Estate Academy, have been designated a graduate of the REALTOR® Institute by the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (GRI), and the University of Massachusetts. I have served on many Regional and National Committees and Boards with a variety of lifetime experiences. I am most proud of my connection to the University of Massachusetts and have found so many great friends in the Amherst area.
I live in Amherst with my wife, Jeannie, and have three grown sons, Peter, Chris and Nick. Peter 34 living in Portland Maine is one of six founders of Zapata Quantum Computing and there continues to pursue his Physics relationships; Chris 32 living in Manhattan teaches for Harlem Lacrosse mentoring students and coaching lacrosse. Nick 27 living in upstate New York and his passion for sustainable farming has landed him at the Essex Farm CSA producing everything from Maple Syrup to livestock.
My knowledge as a homeowner in the area coupled with the expertise of Jones Group REALTORS® will allow me to help ease the transition for the many people who come to the area.
