Kevin Sears

Kevin Sears (AHWD, C2EX), of Springfield, Mass., is the 2025 president of the National Association of REALTORS® and is an Associate Broker of Sears Real Estate/Lamacchia Realty. 

Kevin is an actively practicing REALTOR® serving buyers and sellers in Central Massachusetts since 1994. Kevin joined Lamacchia Realty in 2024 when Lamacchia Realty acquired Sears Real Estate, a merger both companies had been working together on since 2022.

Kevin’s expertise lies in the realms of single-family brokerage and property management. His involvement with NAR is marked by significant roles, including serving as President’s Liaison in 2019 and as Vice President of Government Affairs in 2017.

A steadfast RPAC Major Investor since 2004, Kevin has consistently been a “Golden R” investor and a member of the President’s Circle from 2007 onwards. His commitment has earned him two inductions into NAR’s RPAC Hall of Fame. Furthermore, he has been a dedicated Federal Political Coordinator for Bay State Congressman Richard Neal (D-Springfield) for many years.

Kevin’s leadership extended to chairing the RPAC Disbursements Presidential Advisory Group in 2021, leading the NAR RPAC Trustees in 2011 and 2015, and overseeing the REALTOR® Party Trustees for State and Local Campaign Services Committee in 2013. In 2016 he was at the helm of the REALTOR® Party of the Future Strategic Planning Work Group and serving as NAR’s Vice President for Region 1, covering New England.

The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® recognized his leadership by electing him President in 2010. Since 2000, he has been an integral part of the MAR Board of Directors, earning the title of REALTOR® of the Year in 2006 and the Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award in 2015.

The REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts saw him as their president in 2005, acknowledging his leadership with the REALTOR® of the Year award in 2006 and entrusting him with chairing numerous committees.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kevin is deeply invested in his community. Appointments by Massachusetts Governors Deval Patrick in 2011 and Charlie Baker in 2016 as Chairman of the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons underscore his influence. His civic engagement spans the Rental Housing Association of Greater Springfield, the Forest Park Civic Association, the Springfield Rotary Club, and has served on the Cathedral High School Board of Trustees, the Chamber of Commerce, and as a Trustee for the Mason Wright Retirement Community.

Kevin’s educational background includes a B.A. in History from Providence College and an MBA from Western New England University, grounding his professional and community efforts in a strong academic foundation.

Kevin is a father of three and resides in the Springfield area with his wife Molly.
